The Kitronik ZIP Tile is an 8x screen for the BBC micro:bit. It can scroll text, show all the colours of the rainbow, and multiple Tiles can be connected to create even larger screens Features 64 color selectable LEDs mounted on an 8×8 grid, LED ZIP extension points on the left, right and top of the board, and the ability to connect a BBC micro:bit with both screws and clips. It also separates the P1 & P2 into standard 0.1″ (2.54mm) footprints. Each of these pins also has the required power supply voltage and GND pads Power is supplied via a JST connector on the back of the board. The board generates an adjustable power supply that is fed to the 3V and GND connections to power the connected BBC micro:bit, eliminating the need to power it separately.
