L7812 Regulated Power Module 12V

Regulated 12Vdc 0.6A power supply board with L7812 voltage regulator. The L7812 regulator can provide up to 1A load current and features on-chip protection circuitry that shuts the chip down in the event of over heating or excessive current. The heatsink supplied allows a maximum load of 600mA to be connected. The input voltage can be unregulated AC (22V max) or DC (30V max) and should be around 3Vdc above the output voltage for proper operation. The board comprises an L7812 voltage regulator with heatsink, bridge rectifier, input and output smoothing capacitors and screw terminal block connectors. It is suitable for a range of applications where a smoothed and regulated 12Vdc output of up to 0.6A is required.
