The MI:sound board is a speaker board for the BBC microbit. It has a built-in speaker, CR2032 battery case, thumb volume control and easy access on/off switch. The MI:sound sound sound board can be powered either by the CR2032 battery (supplied) or via the micro:bit’s USB or JST connections. The MI:sound board’s speaker can be used in conjunction with or instead of the micro:bit’s built-in speaker To use the MI:sound speaker board, the BBC micro:bit must be connected using the supplied screws, spacers and nuts. Only Pin 0, 3V and GND should be connected. Crocodile Clips can also be used When assembled, the MI:sound board connects directly to the 3V, GND and P0 connections of the micro:bit. The 3V and GND connections provide power to the micro:bit and the built-in buzzer connects to P0, which is the default output pin when using the sound functions in the MakeCode software.
