The Breadboard breakout for the BBC micro:bit allows the user to connect a BBC microbit to a standard breadboard with a 2.54mm pitch. Two 11-way pin heads are used to make connections to the board The micro:bit plugs into the end connector on the top side of the board. No additional tools are required for installation. The front of the BBC micro:bit (the side with the LEDs) should be placed on the same side as the 3V connector The end connector only has connections on one side, so if the BBC micro:bit is inserted in reverse orientation, it will not work. The board is designed to be mounted along the middle slot of a breadboard, in the same placement as an IC component Features: The microbit goes into the end connector of the board This splitter board goes straight into the middle slot of a standard breadboard with a 2.54 mm pitch, just like an IC component. The microbit pins are separated into 2 x 11 way header pins Use cables to connect from the header pins to the breadboard No tools or soldering required for installation
